The Kingdom awaits your entrance!
THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS NOW
And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever – Daniel 2:44
More than 26 centuries ago, God gave a heathen king a panoramic view of the world’s future, beginning with his reign over Babylon (606-538 B.C.), and ending with the entrance and establishment of the Kingdom of Heaven upon the earth. Through his dream, recorded in Daniel 2, Nebuchadnezzar saw the demise of four world powers—Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome—and the final crushing of the kingdoms of men by the glorious Kingdom of God, depicted in the dream as a stone cut without human hands, from the side of a great mountain.
34Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. 35Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth – Daniel 2:34, 35.
While the above events represent the Kingdom as coming at the end of the world—commonly referred to as the Kingdom of glory—the actual setting up of that Kingdom takes place long before that time. Daniel says that this, in reality, takes place in the days of these kings and their kingdoms (Daniel 2:44). The coming of the Kingdom of Heaven actually commenced with the coming of Christ during the era of the kingdom of Rome. Its announcement was first proclaimed by John the Baptist, who came out of the wilderness of Judea crying loudly: “Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 3:2).
Later, the Messiah would teach His mountainside audience about the character traits of Kingdom citizens and about the principles governing Kingdom life (Matthew 5-7). He also taught them to pray “Thy kingdom come . . .” (Matthew 6:10); demonstrated through parables what the Kingdom is really like (Matthew 13); and indicated that His powerful miracles of healing were evidence of the Kingdom’s presence (Matthew 12:22-28). Most paramount was the Savior’s declaration that the Kingdom of Heaven was already present in the heart—incorruptible spirit-seed (1 Peter 1:23)—of the believer (Luke 17:21).
All believers are born again by Kingdom grace which flows from above (John 3:3). This incoming life of God is what qualifies the believer as a Kingdom citizen, and give him the ability to enter Kingdom life and perceive its realities. Without this divine endowment, the individual is in total darkness with regard to everything that pertains to the Kingdom. He cannot see or enter it because he is from this world and the Kingdom is not (John 18:36).
The only way to see and enter the Kingdom NOW is by receiving its King as your Savior and Lord. The Bible says that “as many as receive Him to them gave He the power to become sons of God . . .” (John 1:12).
DO YOU HAVE KINGDOM VISION? IF NOT, WHY NOT?
