LIFE AT ITS BEST

Live By the Word
My child, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are LIFE to those who find them, and HEALING to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22).
The Word of God is the most powerful, creative/destructive force in the universe. The Holy Bible says: By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and all their host by the breath of his mouth. . . For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stood firm (Psalm 33:6, 9).
Nothing was created without God speaking it first. Nine time in Genesis 1 the Bible records the clause “God said,” and at the end of what “God said,” we find the other repeated clause, “and it was so.” Consequently, the words that come from the mouth of God are not just hot air of empty “nothings.” They are filled with creative/destructive energy! They can make things happen and prevent things from happening. They can bring into existence what never was, and totally obliterate what ever does exist. Christ once said to the multitudes who gathered to hear Him: “. . . the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life (John 6:63).
Interestingly, Christ was the Word of God personified (in a living person). The Bible says that all things were created by the Word; the Word was made flesh and lived among us; and we beheld its glory in living color in the person of Jesus Christ, the Son of God (John 1:1-3, 14). Just as Christ is the Word of God personified, the Holy Bible is the Word of God codified (in written form). What is even most amazing and escapes the notice of most people is that the Holy Bible–the most read book in the world–is just as alive and powerful as the words God spoke to bring into existence the perfection of everything we see on this planet. YES, OURS EARTH IS A WORD PLANET! And yes, word–especially God’s Word–is the most powerful, active force in the world (see Hebrews 4:12).
Therefore, if one chooses consistently to live his life by every word of God (that is, by the principles of the Holy Bible), then he will most certainly find the best of life, the best of health and complete prosperity in this world, and life everlasting in the world that is soon to come. Here is God’s unfailing promise to you:
“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so will My word be which goes forth from My mouth. It will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:10, 11, NASB).
Make God’s Word a part of your daily diet and lifestyle and you will certainly LIVE!!!!
