Salvation is FREE; Try it!

Salvation Is Free

Salvation Is Free, but not CHEAP!

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord – Romans 6:23.

But AS MANY as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,  who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God – John 1:12, 13.

When it comes to the salvation of sinners, God always makes the first move, not mankind.  The Bible clearly teaches that God demonstrated His love for us in committing Christ to die in our place, even while we were living in sin (Romans 5:8). God loves us so much that He gave His only Son to be our redemptive sacrifice, so that WHOSOEVER believes in Him (Jesus) should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). It is very important to understand that Christ was given for the world, and that the invitation to salvation and eternal is freely offered to WHOSOEVER believe in, or receive God’s gift—His Son’s life.

Salvation is that simple! The Word of God says with great certaintly, WHOSOEVER calls upon the name of the Lord SHALL BE SAVED (Romans 10:13). There is absolutely nothing that one can do to earn it. It is a FREE gift. A person has only to express his faith in God’s offer by receiving it and salvation is his. It does not matter how he feels about himself, or what others may think or say about him. This is totally a divine transaction between God and him, without the external imposition of the will of man or the will of any fleshly soul (John 1:13).

The religions and traditions of men often try to “sell” this FREE gift by imposing organizational or institutional requirements upon the seeker of salvation; but such a stance is totally contrary to all Scripture. The truth is that a person does not possess the power of his own accord to fulfill the religious requirements of men and their systems until he has experience God’s salvation–the infusion of divine life–in his spirit. According to the Bible, it is totally impossible for fleshly soul to obey or please God (Romans 8:7, 8). Therefore, to expect obedience from sinner before gift of salvation becomes operative in them is an utter impossibility.

Thank God He does not have such expectations from any sinner seeking salvation. Certainly, He does not expect such obedience from you. Once you have accepted His FREE gift—the life of Jesus in your spirit—God will give you both the desire and the power to obey His perfect will. His Word declares, it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13), and that his divine power hath given unto us [you] all things that pertain unto life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).
